Congressman David Scott Releases Year End Report
Washington,
December 10, 2020
Congressman David Scott (GA-13) has been working hard in Washington and Georgia to secure federal support for constituents of Georgia’s Thirteenth District. Scott released his Year End Report highlighting this year’s achievements.
“I am honored to share our Year End Report,” Scott said. “My staff and I worked hard to deliver results for Thirteenth District families during this year’s Congress. As such, we coordinated free COVID-19 testing, provided food and financial assistance, awarded scholarships, secured home mortgage relief, and supported our frontline workers. In addition, we secured $120 million to help our veterans, $80 million for scholarships for students to attend African American 1890's Land-Grant Colleges and Universities, and $380 million in funding for new roads and interstate highways. I humbly appreciate my constituents for allowing me to continue making progress in our community and be their strong voice in the United States Congress. And, as always, my staff and I are here to be helpful whenever we are needed.”
