There Could be Major Errors in Your Credit Report

A Federal Trade Commission study of the U.S. credit reporting industry found that five percent of consumers had errors on one of their three major credit reports that could lead to them paying more for products such as auto loans and insurance.  Overall, the congressionally mandated study on credit report accuracy found that one in five consumers had an error on at least one of their three credit reports. Electronic Direct Deposits for Federal Benefits

Are you receiving Social Security, VA or other federal benefits by paper check? You are required by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to switch to electronic payments by March 1, 2013.  You can choose to accept your payments by direct deposit to a bank or credit union account or to a Direct Express® Debit MasterCard® card account.  For more information about how to sign up your accounts, visit: www.godirect.org.
