Syria Debate

When the House meets next week the main topic of discussion will be the President's request for military action against Syria.  Congressman Scott has been concerned that not enough information has been shared with the American public about the need to intervene.  On August 29, he
asked that the President seek a vote in Congress before acting.  And, on August 31, the President made a public statement outlining his decision to ask Congress to vote on military action.

On Monday, Congressman Scott
gave an interview to WSB-TV  saying that he needed to better understand the risks involved with a possible strike.  He also expressed concerns in an interview with 11Alive news.  On Tuesday, he spoke with WABE News about the situation and said that President needs to clarify why any intervention, even a limited one, is in the interest of the U.S. and provide a more detailed military strategy.
