Congressman David Scott will host his Fifth Annual 13th Congressional District Health Fair on Saturday, August 15, 2009 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. This event is free and open to the public and will take place at Mundy’s Mill High School in Jonesboro, located at 9652 Fayetteville Road.

This year’s event will focus on Diabetes as its theme and feature an array of FREE health screenings. In addition, participants can receive information on important health issues, participate in a blood drive, hear from special guest speakers, and enroll on-site in health assistance programs like Medicare, Medicaid, PeachCare, prescription drug assistance and others for the uninsured.
