Jobs Fair and More - April 1
Congressman Scott's annual jobs fair will be held on Friday, April 1, from 10am to 3pm, at the Georgia International Convention Center, located at 2000 Convention Center Concourse, College Park, GA 30337.
In addition to the jobs fair, other services will be available including: benefits and health resources for veterans, HomeSafe Georgia mortgage assistance, step-by-step guidance on applying for federal jobs through USAJobs.gov, and a Small Business Forum, led by the SBA and providing information for entrepreneurs on start-up basics, access to capital, federal and state procurement contracts, and film industry opportunities. Millions Recouped for Constituents in 2015
Each year, Congressman Scott's office responds to thousands of requests from constituents. In 2015, Congressman Scott's office helped over 1,200 constituents with casework dealing with government agencies. In addition, his office was able to help constituents save over $2.6 million and bring over $8.6 million in grants assistance. To learn more about casework assistance or grants, click here.
Congressional Art Competition for High School Students
High school students who reside in or attend a public, private or home school in Georgia’s 13th Congressional District are invited to submit artwork for the Congressional Art Competition. To date, Congressman Scott has awarded over $392,000 in scholarships to local student winners of his annual art competition.
Entries must be received in either Congressman Scott's Smyrna or Jonesboro District Office by Monday, April 11, 2016. Students may obtain entry forms and official guidelines from Congressman Scott’s Office and their high school art teachers.
Library of Congress Resources for Teachers

Assistance Filing Taxes

Through Free File, all taxpayers who made $62,000 or less in 2015 can visit www.IRS.gov/freefile to prepare and e-file their federal tax returns at no cost. About 100 million Americans – or 70 percent of taxpayers – are eligible. In addition, Free File offers a basic e-filing service for everyone, regardless of income. Taxpayers can also use Free File to e-file an extension.
