Dear Friend:
The economy has shown signs of improvement over the last few months. However, the unemployment rate is still too high. In an effort to help, I am proud to announce the Annual 13th Congressional District Jobs Fair. This is the 10th year that I have hosted this important event, which matches job seekers with potential employers.
The Jobs Fair will be held on Friday, April 19, from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm at the Georgia International Convention Center, 2000 Convention Center Concourse, College Park, GA 30337.
You can take MARTA to the Airport Station and ride the new Sky Train to the convention center for free. Driving directions can also be found at the convention center website: http://www.gicc.com/map.asp
Please remember to bring copies of your resume and dress your best. Employers are encouraged to participate at no cost. Information about the Jobs Fair will continue to be updated on my web page: https://davidscott.house.gov/.
