Congressman David Scott (GA-13) will participate as the guest speaker for the April meeting of the St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church’s Seniors Group. During the meeting, Congressman Scott will share updates of his work in Washington to save Social Security from privatization attempts and to stop damaging increases in Medicare premiums for Georgia's seniors through the Keep the Promise of Medicare Act. Congressman Scott will also discuss the leadership he is providing to promote commuter rail in Georgia and protect Forts Gillem and McPherson from a pending round of base closures around the country.
