On Saturday, September 19, 2020, Congressman David Scott will provide access to free Drive-Thru COVID-19 Testing, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, at Word of Faith Cathedral in Austell, Ga.
“As our nation continues to confront the public health and economic crisis caused by the coronavirus, robust testing is the key to slowing the spread of the virus," said Congressman Scott. "I am joining with the Cobb and Douglas Public Health, CORE, the Family Health Centers of Georgia and Wellstar Health System to provide free COVID-19 tests for anyone with or without symptoms at our drive thru event on Saturday, September 19, at Word of Faith Cathedral near Six Flags.”
”With a historic number of Georgians unemployed during the coronavirus crisis, many families are struggling to put food on the table due to this unprecedented threat to their lives and livelihoods,” Scott continued. “The Atlanta Community Food Bank will provide healthy and nutritious food to families in need at our drive-thru event. Food will be distributed on a first come, first served basis to the first 600 vehicles with a limit of one container of food per vehicle while supplies last.”
