Congressman David Scott (GA-13), Ranking Member of the House Agriculture Committee, today issued the following statement: Once again, we find ourselves grieving the loss of life caused by gun violence during today's shooting at Apalachee High School. I stand firm in offering my strongest condolences and support to the victims, students, parents, staff, and first responders in Winder during this time of immense tragedy. Today's events underscore the need to prevent gun violence, end mass shootings, and save lives. My office will continue to closely monitor updates as they unfold. ####### |
